How It Works
Farm boundary to funded loan in 48 hours.
Three layers, one credit decision, no bank branch.
Layer 1
Data intake: plot and records
GPS Farm Boundary
Send a GeoJSON or KML file showing your farm perimeter. It anchors the remaining data layers. Cooperatives with GIS tools may batch-submit for their members.
Harvest Records
Provide two completed harvest seasons, measured in bags per alqueire or tonnes per hectare. For informal records, our support team can help convert field notebooks into the required format.
Cooperative Data Optional
When a cooperative keeps digital delivery records, we can request them directly. Cooperatives can set up data-sharing with Culttivo to streamline applications for members.
Layer 2
Scoring: satellite and soil
Satellite Imagery Review
We retrieve Sentinel-2 imagery composites for your plot from the latest growing season. NDVI, or Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, indicates canopy density and productivity against regional benchmarks.
Soil Profile Matching
Your GPS boundary is matched with the EMBRAPA soil survey database. Soil organic matter class and drainage category then inform yield potential and climate resilience scores in our training dataset.
Weather Deviation Flag
We compare cherry-development precipitation with the 30-year regional mean. Major differences become a yield-volatility modifier, with drought or excess-rain years discounted accordingly.
Layer 3
Decision: credit offer in 48 hours
The three layers form one credit dossier, which our credit team reviews before issuing a final offer.
Model assigns a risk band
The scoring engine places your plot in one of five risk bands, from Low Risk to Elevated Risk, using signals from every data layer.
Credit team checks the dossier
A human credit analyst reviews the model output, checks data anomalies, and confirms the amount and rate tier. Unusual plots, including first-season data or boundary discrepancies, receive additional review time.
Offer sent to your account
Your offer shows the approved amount, monthly rate, repayment schedule, and a 30-day window to accept. There is no pressure to commit immediately.
Accept funds through PIX
Accept online, and the PIX transfer reaches your registered bank account within five business days of confirmation.
Compatible Inputs
Inputs we can use
Formal records help, but are not required. We accept several formats and can work with your cooperative to create available data pipelines.
Accepted data formats
- GeoJSON or KML boundary files
- PDF or CSV cooperative harvest records
- Printed harvest notebooks, scanned or photographed
- CAR boundary registration extracts
- Cooperative batch delivery data via API or CSV
Data we retrieve
