For Lenders

Plot-level credit risk for coffee farms

We provide structured risk data on Brazilian smallholder coffee farms to support lender decisions and expand credit access.

Model inputs

Inputs tailored to Brazilian coffee

Our model combines NDVI canopy signals from Sentinel-2, yield variability across two harvest seasons, and soil profiles from EMBRAPA. It also uses precipitation deviation and altitude band to score plots in Cerrado, Sul de Minas and Mogiana.

  • NDVI canopy Sentinel-2 composites at 10m resolution
  • Yield variation score measured over two harvest seasons
  • Soil organic matter profile texture and drainage classification
  • Precipitation variance relative to 30-year regional mean in cherry-development
  • Altitude tier regional elevation grouping
